Thank God!

Psalms 35:18 – “Then I will thank you in front of the great assembly.  I will praise you before all the people.”

When we receive a blessing, we are joyous.  When circumstances work in our favor we express jubilation.  However, in each scenario we don’t stop and give thanks for what God has done, instead we grow complacent and ungrateful.  Thus, thank you Lord for waking us up this morning.  Thank you Lord for the people and opportunities you have placed in our paths.  Thank you for relationships that have strengthened or made us whole.  Thank you for good health and the beauty of sight.  Thank you for dying on the cross and becoming the key.  Gratitude and thanks is what we usher up to you.  As we give thanks to cut pride, bolster humility, and be faithful in all we do.  Many will say, “My work was done by my own volition.”  Well, may no hard times fall upon you, because God won’t be there to blame, which is the reason we should extol His holy name.  Amen
